Hey everyone, today we're doing another SEO audit of LiftOSAR, the most powerful weightlifting planner and tracker app. It's like having a mobile-friendly Google Sheets and strong in the same app. So you can create your own programs, choose one of the existing programs that exist, and download the app. You can either use it as a web app or download from the App Store or Google Play Store. The web app lives over here, and then you can see how it works, and the mobile apps are over here. So there's an App Store app with a good rating, and there is a Play Store app with a good rating. So there's some parts that are more like ASO, which is abstract optimization, but we'll dive more deeply into the SEO part, which is getting LiftOSAR.com ranks. So let's take a look at Ahrefs first to see what we're playing with. Right now, we see that they have a domain rating of 26, and they have 745 backlinks from 236 domains. They have 291 keywords, which gives them about 230 traffic. If we take a look at the top keywords that they're ranking for already, we see that they mostly have keywords that are ranking for their programs, so GCCLP, and if we click on this, we see which exact program it is. So they have a page which explains this more in depth, and it shows all the details that you need, all the stages that you have, the exact specific links. And it has some specific interactive playground stuff, so if you click on this, you can see more or less how the app, I believe, would look like. There's a more chart or infographic about the strength and hypertrophy of this workout and how it impacts your strength. This specific app seems to be more from a Reddit player, so that's why people are looking for it, and that's why also that it has a logo. So people type this into Google, and the first thing that they see is boostcamp.app, which is a competitor that also explains it in a similar way. You have a huge QR code and programs on the left and right. So this is the competitor for the specific keywords, except, of course, the Reddit itself, the fitness wiki, say no to bro sign, set for set, YouTube, and then finally, we have Liftoffstar over here at number nine. So they are ranking quite well on this. If we see this specific thing, this means that they have about zero specific backlinks to the specific program, and this specifically would help them rank higher for their programs. So if we filter just on the programs for the backlinks, we see that Liftoffstar slash program basic beginner has only one backlink, but the rest of it doesn't. See, I believe if you would build some backlinks to this specific program, which is the program details for GCCLP, and improve the on-page SEO, for example, placing the most important part of your keyword in the beginning, such as GCCLC program, right in the beginning, if we check here, and for the on-page SEO, they have a title, a meta title, GCCLC program, and then Bootcamp app, and then a quick description, which shows below the specific app. And if we compare it to Liftoffstar, they have, on the content, they have the title a bit further up. So they have it all the way in the end, GCCLP. But the beginning part is the Liftoffstar, weight lifting tracking app, which doesn't really help Google as much because the keyword is in the end, and the title is a bit long. It's above 60 characters, which means Google will make sure that it's cut off. So what's being cut off here is the initial part, the brand name, Liftoffstar is being removed here. So one way that you can improve this quickly is play around with your meta title. What you can do specifically is just move this up in the beginning. For example, GCCLP program details, everything you need to know, right? And this is a little bit of a better title that will get you more clicks and also get you a better position on Google. Otherwise, you can add explained over here, something that you have here in your header, in your H1 as well, or you can add some specific words, for example, your app, but you'd like more information about your app. But this would help you rank a little bit higher. I believe if you implement this change and at least get a few backlinks to this specific change in a page, you will get better results. For this keyword, where you are ranking already number very highly on, and this is one of your best keywords, as you can see here. So making sure that it goes from position 12 to position five, four, three to one, will get you a lot better results. If we take a look at this competitor and how many backlinks that they have to this page, it's about seven to three. You see that they have a few backlinks from forums. So this one, this one, and this one, they're all very specific ones. Some ways that you can easily improve this is create an account here. I believe there's this Reddit as well and this fitness post, or log into this forum and click on answer and then reply with your workout. And also send an email to this liftfault.com. Potentially something that you can do is either submit a program or write and contact the team here somewhere by contacting a header over here or by finding so many questions or filling in the contact form. You can just say, hey, by the way, I saw you have a link to bootscam.app. Can you add a link to Lifthastore as well? Because we have a lot better information about our app and this is called the skyscraper technique. If we take a look at the skyscraper technique, and quickly, as in one image, how it looks like. So first you create a better content and then you make sure that you reach out to other people and saying, okay, you found this bootscam.app content and you say, okay, I'll make an even better one, a better skyscraper that looks even better or even so much better than the other one. And because my content is better, I can reach out to the people that added backlinks to bootscam.app and say, hey, my blog post is even more informative. So this will be more helpful for you. So the skyscraper technique is something that the SEO agencies use to help you get more backlinks. So the other keywords that we're ranking for here is Lifthastore, of course, is number one. Other programs, GCLS, Jacked and Tanned. This is gonna be very similar advice. Just make sure that you add more backlinks, make sure that you improve the, yeah, here you have a better title already. So this is more clear, but still Google is changing your title because it's not in a specific configuration. So I would remove this template from all your titles and just keep this final part and this will help you not have your titles be changed by Google because it's too long. Other things that you have to do for on-page, by the way, is add a canonical URL, make sure that you have a row with text, sitemap, potentially make sure that your social URL is matching your canonical URL, but otherwise this looks mostly okay from a quick view. But this is a similar idea. Make sure that you look at who your competitors are for a specific page, for a specific program. If you take a look at the other programs here, you have almost no backlinks to any of these programs, but your program SEO is really powerful. It has a lot of details. It has a lot of this information. I believe this is very unique data that you might have that is helpful for your app. So this is probably part of your app in some way, and this can help you rank higher because nobody else might have this information. So this is mostly what Google likes to see. So if we take a look at, for example, GCSL program, the ripper, we see that Reddit is ranking here, this app and this app, and then Boost Camp again, right? If we take another look, Utah High Frequency GCLS, we see Reddit is here, then you. So you're already good here. Arnold Schwarzenegger's Golden Six program, we see that My Workout Plans, even though they have a low domain rating, about three, they have a lot of traffic for this page. So they have about 630 keywords and then 438 search traffic for Arnold's Golden Six page. So this is something that you would also like to get links from and potentially search traffic for. You're not being listed here in the top 10, so this means potentially you are missing something that is important. So if we take a look at this page, which explains it, what you usually do if you see that it's not ranking at all, I mean, here you are ranking for Arnold Golden Six, which is about position 13, so you're on the next page. But here, for example, the number one result is showing a picture of Arnold. You are not showing a picture of Arnold. Here, there's a quick step that explains it in a quick way, something that you also do in a different way, but you just explain the specific program. So this specific post could be a little bit longer because here you can see that it has a lot of preamble. It explains it a lot more in depth. You have common instructions. This is the exact text that you already have on your page, so this is good. But here you can see they have even more examples. This is very helpful for people also who are not really familiar with workouts that they can see in a quick GIF-y how it looks like. So a barbell squat is this one, a bench press is this one, a pull-up is this one, a barbell curl is this one, crunches is this one. And then you have a beginner's version, also with GIFs, and finally some exercises. So potentially something that you could do to rank higher here, and this is gonna be a little bit more difficult, is adding more specific GIFs, information, add some type of history to this page, a picture of Arnold, and then you might rank higher. But also don't forget, one thing that is important again, if we take a look here at the backlinks for myworkoutplans.net, they have backlinks from Boston Globe, all of these websites. So making sure that you also copy over the backlinks is very good, so you go to reply here and add a link explaining a decrawl. It's also a forum, some PBN, so they just bought random links. But potentially you can get even better backlinks in some other way, either through guest posts or working with link exchanges, or potentially finding people who write about Arnold Golden 6. One way to do that quickly is by taking a look at the keywords, googling this, and then you basically go through the list, right? You go to burnfit.io, you see, okay, they're writing about, they're kind of a competitor, they're writing about Arnold, but you don't have to tell them this, you could just find their Instagram and contact them and say, hey, can you promote our app? So you're already finding more specific people that potentially could link to you for other blog posts, and then you kind of cross-match all of the potential publishers and partners that you might find. So again, LiftVault, we already saw before, but you still can contact them over here and tell them that you also have a similar program and then get a link from another page. This website, potentially also contact them and say, hey, can you add a link to us? FitSociety.io, also in a similar way, you go to the email page, you write an email and say, can you please add a link to our page? Basically what you have to do to get more backlinks. And I see most of your articles, most of your programmatic SEO strategy is the programs, and the other one is the blog posts. Both of these are doing okay, but you're not getting as much traffic as they could because they're still very low. And that's mostly because you have either not the positions that you would want to have, because even if you get actually really good results, you go from 13 to number two or one, then you suddenly have like 150 volume per day. And this will help you get a lot more traffic. And I think your programs are one of the better ways to do that. Of course, you do have some blog posts and you do have an affiliate program. So if you are, by the way, writing emails to people, just tell them like, hey, by the way, you can sign up for affiliate program when you link to us and they could earn some money. So they might potentially be more open to linking back to you in some way. Here, a blog post, how to start weightlifting. I think this is way too short. If you Google this, how to start weightlifting, it's gonna be very hard to compete with this because this page is gonna be very, very much in depth of information, with exercises, jiffs. To really rank higher than this, you need to have like, again, the skyscraper technique. You write an even better article than this one, but that's gonna take a little bit of an effort. I think your programs are a much better way of doing that. So I would keep it at this. For your homepage, finally, seems like you're ranking for lift tracking app. I believe this is gonna be like your main keyword, which is like your app itself. So fitness tracker, best fitness tracker. These are all keywords that you potentially could also try to rank for. Best weightlift tracking app. Or workout tracker, already a little bit better. It has 2,000 search volume. You know, either workout tracker, if we take a look at this, I mean, this is a weightlift planner and tracker app, so it's a little bit different. But workout tracker has more. If we take a look at weightlifting planner, you have the best weightlifting apps. So best weightlifting apps might be a better keyword for you. It has a lot more search volume, as you can see here. And there are a few more examples. So they have Men's Journal, apple.com. If we take a look at who weightlifting apps, it still makes sense to take a look at this. So you have apple.com. You're not gonna rank higher here unless you name your app weightlifting app on Google. And this is gonna be a little bit of a name change. So fortune.com, strong lifting app. So they have a lot of backlinks. Google Play is mostly sort of backlinks anyway. Single track world. Again, apple.com, CNET. This is gonna be difficult to get here. But you could still try to contact some of these and see if people reach back to you in some way. But you need to be even better than this one. This seems to be more general purpose. So weightlifting planner and tracker. It's mostly, for me, this Garage Gym reviews. So they write about this page. So this seems to be the best value for you. One way I would try to reach out here is, again, find, like scroll down, go to the contact. They have an affiliate discloser. So they might be open to linking out to you. So you write your email, your message, and you say, hey, our affiliate program is this. We can give you even more, a higher percentage than the other ones. Or we can pay for a placement in this article. And because they are ranking very high for all of these results, like best weight training app, it has 600 volume and it has a lot of demand and even high cost per click. So being listed in this specific page is gonna give you a lot of return. So even if you pay maybe 500 or $1,000 per month just to be included in this list, it might be 100% worth it. Potentially even more, depending on the niche. I'm not super familiar, but they're ranking number one for everything. Either you try Parasite SEO and make an article that outranks Garage Gym Reviews, which is gonna be a little bit difficult because they seem to be very legit. Otherwise you can try to go for Reddit. You find a post like this and then write a comment and say, hey, check out LiftoSAR. And it's very good. You can contact James Clear, Strong.Ab, Hey.Ab. These are all competitors. If we take a look in a quick glance for their traffic for Hey.Ab, they mostly have the 3D workout split, upper glute workouts, single RLAM, lat pulldowns. They have specific exercises, whereas you have specific programs. So if you want to get a little bit more traffic for programmatic SEO, which you can try is adding more specific exercises. So some of these strategies could help and I hope it works out for you. Good luck.
