Lindo SEO Audit: DR 70 and Only 210 Visits a Month

Public SEO roast••644 transcript segments

The DR 70 comes from cookie-policy and footer links on customer sites, and they land on a sign-in page. Earn mentions in “best website builder” listicles, rewrite your own listicles to the format that ranks, and build a template directory.

In this audit

  1. 1Why a DR 70 website builder gets 210 search visits a month
  2. 2The cookie-policy links that inflate Lindo’s Domain Rating
  3. 3How to turn a sign-in page with 23 linking sites into a landing page
  4. 4TechRadar’s listicle next to Lindo’s, section by section
  5. 5Why free tools will not convert, and what templates do instead

Lindo homepage: How Lindo.ai compares to Duda, AI coders, and the rest

Lindo is a white-label AI website builder for agencies and resellers. You create, host, and manage client sites under your own brand, with client access and billing. There is an MCP server, SDKs, a CLI, free tools, comparison pages, and guides.

Saeed’s question: the Domain Rating is 70, so why does that not turn into traffic? He asked me to check the quality and relevance of the backlinks, and he wants more agencies and resellers arriving from white-label and AI website builder searches.

DR 70, and 210 visits a month

Ahrefs overview for lindo.ai: DR 70, 463 referring domains, 32 organic keywords, 210 organic traffic

Domain Rating 70. About 463 referring domains once spam is filtered out. 32 keywords and 210 visits a month, worth about $1.1K. AI answers mention you 45 times, 22 of them in AI Overviews.

Ahrefs top pages for lindo.ai: 18 pages, the homepage first for “white label ai website builder”

Eighteen pages rank. The white-label guide gets 76 visits and the homepage gets 58.

The homepage is first for white label ai website builder. That keyword has 100 searches a month, a difficulty of 11, and a $7.76 cost per click. Add the people asking AI and that is about three searches a day. Being first for it is worth roughly $300 a month. That is fine if those people convert. It is small for a website builder.

The better keyword sits at position 9

Ahrefs keywords for Lindo’s agency listicle: best website builder for agencies at position 9

Best website builder for agencies has 200 searches and a $7.61 CPC. Best website builder for marketing agency has 150 searches and a $12.40 CPC. More volume, and advertisers pay more. Your listicle ranks ninth and tenth for them. That is the page I would improve first.

One small fix on the way: the title of the white-label guide is cut off in the search results. Google treats it as too long, so shorten it.

Ahrefs Best by links for lindo.ai: the homepage has 350 referring domains, privacy and sign-in 23 each

Open Best by links in Ahrefs. It shows which of your pages other sites link to. The homepage has 350 referring domains. After that come the privacy policy with 23, the app’s sign-in page with 23, pricing with 21, and terms with 20.

No tool, guide, or comparison page has links of its own. The links are concentrated on the homepage and the legal pages, and that tells you how they were earned.

IT Direct, a site built on Lindo: the cookie banner’s Cookie Policy link points at Lindo

This is IT Direct. Their cookie banner says “Cookie Policy”, and that link goes to Lindo. Sites built on Lindo link back this way, and that is why the Domain Rating is so high.

It does not mean anyone is recommending Lindo as a website builder. To Google it looks like a source of cookie policies.

app.lindo.ai/sign-in with the Ahrefs toolbar: no canonical, robots.txt on app.lindo.ai

Click that link and you land on app.lindo.ai/sign-in. It is odd to click “Cookie Policy” and get a sign-in form. The app’s robots.txt blocks everything except /sign-in, so this is the one page on that subdomain Google can read. Use it:

  • Give the sign-in page a real title and description, like “Build a website with Lindo’s website generator”
  • Link from it to your best pages: the white-label page and the best website builder page
  • On customer sites, change the wording from a bare policy link or “Powered by Lindo” to Lindo website builder, linked to lindo.ai

That spreads the value of those links across the site instead of leaving it on a login form.

Ahrefs backlinks for lindo.ai: Envato, Product Hunt, AppSumo, many through lindoai.com redirects

The stronger rows are Envato at DR 93, Product Hunt at DR 91, AppSumo at DR 83, and a GitHub resource list at DR 97. Many of them still point to lindoai.com and reach lindo.ai through a redirect. It is not a big deal. I would still try to get everything onto one domain.

Further down are the footer links from customer sites: “Create your website today”, “Made with Lindo.ai”, “Visit Lindo”. Very few of those pages have any traffic of their own.

WordPress hosts and theme makers get a lot of links for free with a small “powered by” or “theme by” line in the footer. Either Lindo has no real scheme for that, or it is not working. Decide which, and if you keep it, use the wording above.

Ahrefs backlinks filtered to best links in content: F6S, ToolPilot, Are.na, AI directories

Filter the backlinks to best links inside the content of the page. That is the stricter test: how many pages talk about Lindo as an AI website builder?

What is left is F6S, ToolPilot, and AI tool directories. Reviews and listings. I found almost no “best website builders” articles that mention Lindo.

So from every link I looked at, the DR 70 is very inflated. None of them look like what a DR 70 site should have.

TechRadar’s best website builders of 2026: Wix as Best Overall, with reasons and a deal button

This is the link you want. Google best website builders and TechRadar ranks with “80+ platforms tested”. Wix is the top pick, with a reason, a price, screenshots, and pros and cons.

Each time Google sees “Wix” next to “best website builder”, it connects the two. Over time it learns that Wix is a website builder. That does not happen often enough for Lindo.

Your own listicle does not say what Lindo is

Lindo’s agency listicle: the table says to investigate Lindo for “AI-assisted service-site creation”

On your best website builders for agencies page, the table says to investigate Lindo when you want “AI-assisted service-site creation and an agency-branded offering”.

You are tying your brand to “AI-assisted service-site creation”. Nobody searches for that. If you want to rank for best website builder, be stupid clear: Lindo is the best website builder for agencies. The more often that phrase sits next to your brand, the more you rank for it.

Google AI Overview for “best website builders for agencies”: Wix Studio best overall, Duda best for white-labeling

The AI Overview shows how the answer is phrased. Wix Studio, best overall. Duda, best for white-labeling. Webflow, best for bespoke builds. It is built from the listicles and videos that rank for the keyword.

So for each keyword you care about:

  1. Search it and open every page the AI Overview cites
  2. Build your own page in the same format
  3. Get Lindo mentioned in the pages that are cited

TechRadar’s listicle next to yours

TechRadar’s “Why you can trust this guide” box next to Lindo’s “Three jobs. One accountable workflow.”

I put the two pages side by side.

Your H1 is “Best website builders for agencies: choose by the client handoff.” I know what a client handoff is. I do not know how to choose a website builder by one. I run an agency and I want to know which builder is best.

Then “Three jobs. One accountable workflow”, six tests, and an evidence scorecard. I do not understand why I would need a scorecard.

TechRadar opens with an intro and a box titled “Why you can trust this guide”: almost a decade running a marketing agency, 400+ hours testing 80+ website builders. Your page is a vendor reviewing itself, which is already a disadvantage. Your own note at the top says it is a documentation-led comparison and not a hands-on benchmark. So I cannot tell whether you tried the competitors.

TechRadar’s top picks for agencies, Wix Studio and Duda, next to Lindo’s “Use one brief across every candidate”

Then TechRadar gives the shortlist. Wix Studio, best overall. Duda, best for dedicated agency tools. Shopify, best for agencies building ecommerce websites. Logo, price, and a button for each. If I build online stores I already know which one is for me.

Your page has no logos and no explanation of the tools.

TechRadar’s Wix Studio review with a screenshot and star rating next to Lindo’s numbered tests

Lower down, each product gets a rating, a screenshot, reasons to buy, a pricing table, and a verdict. That is the proof that someone used the tool.

What an agency owner wants answered for each builder:

  • What are the downsides?
  • How does the interface work, and what does the CMS look like?
  • Can I use it with MCP, Claude Code, or an API?
  • How many clients does it support?
  • How much time will I waste?

Your guide is just above the quality bar for a listicle. It is not detailed enough. I would run this comparison on every listicle you have, and I expect most of the blog needs a rewrite.

The reseller pages have no keyword

The reseller program guide is a dry list. “Build a website reseller business you can actually deliver” and the reseller opportunity page are not written for a search term.

Pick the keyword first, then Google it and see what ranks. For web design reseller, the first result is “22 Best Resell Web Design Companies”. The intent is a listicle. For white label website platform, you get landing pages and listicles such as “The 5 best white-label website builders”. Duda and your other competitors are named in them.

Yola’s white-label website builders listicle: a ranked comparison table with price, branding, and ease of use

Yola’s version is a better blog post. It has a comparison table at the top, a call to action in the sidebar, and sections for pros and cons. Your page has a “Start building” button and nothing else.

For your listicles:

  • A table at the top
  • A pros and cons section for each tool
  • A screenshot of each product
  • A picture of a human and a button to get started

Then rewrite each one against the top result for its keyword, the way I just did.

The free tools will not convert

Lindo’s URL to Markdown tool: Turn any public URL into clean markdown

None of the tool pages have backlinks.

Website Score is the one I would keep. Make it much better and get links to it. “Website score” is a competitive search. Free SEO check or website grader could be a better term to aim at.

URL to Markdown and the screenshot tool I do not think make sense. Someone tries the tool, gets the result, and has no reason to use Lindo. It is random free traffic and it will not convert.

Build a template directory instead

Webflow’s Portfolio & Agency Website Templates: 4,099 templates with prices

If I want a website for my agency or design business, I search portfolio theme. Dribbble, Figma, Webflow, Canva, Behance, and Envato show up.

Webflow’s page is the example. Someone searching for a theme is ready to buy a website. They pick one, preview it, and launch in a minute. If Lindo is a good website builder, why can I not pick a theme and start from it?

Build a big directory of high-quality landing pages that people can prompt into existence. People link to directories like that. Let the people who sell themes run their own marketplace on it, and they send you traffic too.

TLDR

  1. The DR 70 is inflated. It comes from cookie-policy and footer links on customer sites, and almost all of it points at the homepage.
  2. Those links land on app.lindo.ai/sign-in. Give that page a title and description, and link from it to your best pages.
  3. Change the footer wording on customer sites to “Lindo website builder”, and move old lindoai.com links to lindo.ai where you can.
  4. Get into “best website builder” listicles. Search each keyword, open what the AI Overview cites, and get mentioned there.
  5. Say plainly what Lindo is. Drop “AI-assisted service-site creation”.
  6. Rewrite your listicles to the TechRadar format: why to trust it, a shortlist, logos, screenshots, ratings, pros and cons, pricing, a verdict.
  7. Give the reseller pages a keyword, and match what ranks for it.
  8. Keep Website Score and make it better. The other free tools will not convert.
  9. Build a template directory.
