Hey everyone, today we're doing another SEO audit for Fables.gg. It's called Friends and Fables and it's an AI-powered tabletop RPG platform. This is a really good keyword right away here in the title that explains everything that people will be looking for. So let's Google this one and see what we come up with. So tabletop RPG platform is not really something people are looking for. AI, RPG, AI table, tabletop. So AI tabletop, the suggestions that we get are map generator, RPG, exercise game, or can you play against an AI in tabletop simulator. So these are decent keywords. So if we take a look at the map generator, we see some examples, and the other ones we see just the RPG. But the keyword volume seems to be mostly very low for all of these, so it's not super in demand. Let's take a look at their Ahrefs SEO ranking to see how it performs. So they used to have a bunch of traffic in the past, but now it has dropped quite a bit lower. If we compare their top pages, we see that the results that we get are their friends and fables over here, and that's just for the homepage with only that keyword for the brand name. So people are generally looking for friends and fables in their own platform. They have a decent amount of keyword volume. It's about 500 to 1,100 in all countries, and it has been growing. If we see the trends chart over here on Google Trends, we see that it has been shooting up. So people have been more aware of this than in the past, and now in the last few months it even has grown to 3,000. That's really good. So that means that it's becoming more of a famous or known platform from other sources. So it could be either Reddit, it could be either TikTok, YouTube, or other places. So people are definitely talking about them in some way. For example, how to create a Dungeons & Dragons campaign using friends and fables. So this explains the whole app. So that's a really good and valuable keyword to have as well. It shows you the platform you can generate with AI. For example, your existing ideas. So it's more like a Game Master or AI Game Master. You can add locations. You can create more stuff. So that's actually really useful. So that you can play against yourself. So then people will link back to this, to the game, to the play.fables.gg login. If we check this one, let me check if the robots.txt is actually missing. So if we have something like this on the subdomain, it should also have a robots.txt. It shouldn't always redirect to login to make sure that is correct. Because that might be potentially an error. Over here, we see that we have been redirected from the homepage to the slash login. But the slash login doesn't have a specific canonical URL. And this one is also blank. So make sure that is correct. And that you have some kind of link back to the homepage from this play page. Because it has a bunch of backlinks here on the play page from Toolify and other pages that are linking to our play.fables.gg, which could be, for example, pricing. But I believe the pricing is also going to be redirected now. So yeah, we have the play.pricing. But here we don't have a header or a footer that leads us back to the root subdomain. This could help us use the backlink power and go back to the homepage and level that up. So you have decent backlinks here that you don't want to miss out on. So definitely try to make sure that you have a header and a footer or at least a logo with a link that goes back to the homepage. And this will help you rank higher for this. Because, for example, if people are searching for friends and fables, the things that they get are some of these examples. So they have the legacy. For some reason, legacy.fables.gg in Google Likes prefers that more than your current pricing page. Although it doesn't look good on dark mode for me. But the play.fables.gg.pricing, it might have some issues. For example, here we see that the pricing title is much better than the other one. For example, it has the pricing in the title. And it has the Colonial Korea outset. And it is being disallowed from being disallowed. But it has a robust text. Meanwhile, the play.fables.gg doesn't have it. And it also doesn't have pricing in the title. So you could, if you don't want to show this legacy version, just make sure that it's leading to the correct page. Because here on Google, people are getting to the wrong page from here. This is also the legacy campaign, which doesn't work so well. One way you could try to remove this is by using the noindex meta tag and block searches for the old results. So the tool looks like this one. You don't want to always set the noindex tag, the robust text, to not to be scraped. Because the robots will not be able to find this meta tag. This is a little bit different. This means this page should not be indexed. And the robust text just means that the page should not be visited. The two are different. If you only use robust text that does not allow scraping, it will never detect that it shouldn't be indexed. You need to use the specific meta noindex tag instead. Here we have a blog that is being linked. And here we have the help.legacy.play.fables.gg. Which should ideally be your new help resource files. So you have some issues here. So it should be just the help. But you have some issues with this one. Let me compare the help here. For example, here we see that it has a help center. But I would place the word help center in the front, and then dash, and then friends and fables in the end. And make sure that you also have a robot stack, a sitemap, and everything. And ideally, after a while, you could just redirect with a 301 or a 302 back to the new pages. But here, somehow Google prefers this, what is friends and fables, to the help center. And because this potentially has a lot more information that people can see right away. Meanwhile, this one just has a bunch of links to other pages. So if you would add a few more information like this here, I think Google will pick up this result instead of the one that is showing in the legacy version. So here we have a blog and a new chapter. And it's talking about the redirect. So this is good. So Reddit is being shown here. And people are talking about friends and fables. That's a good thing. Let me check the subprojects that are being shown here. Because potentially there's a few things or ideas that we can pick up from your results. Otherwise, the AI tabletop RPG platform doesn't seem like a great platform. Very inspired by D&D. But you probably shouldn't use that because it's trademarked. But you can type in something like AI dungeons. And people do look for this. Like an AI dungeon, but it's more like a branded keyword. So it's going to be hard to compete with this. AI Game Master. Maybe this is something. AI Game Master seems to also be more like a video game. Like a dungeon RPG text adventure. The search volume is also quite low. D&D and beyond. This is like a character sheet. But the keyword volume is very high here. You have AI dungeon actually. And people do look for it. And it is quite popular. Let me open that up. 23,000. This seems mostly how to play AI dungeon with a player. This seems to be mostly like a branded term for AIdungeon.com. So it's going to be really difficult to outrank this. But still. It's more like AI world generator. AI character generator. And it's AI storyteller. How does it compare to AI dungeon? AI dungeon is more of an AI storyteller. AI dungeon does not have a rule set and constraints. So you can't do anything. Friends and fables. Friends generates a character. Including backstory. So it's a little bit better. But still. The problem that we now see is that we don't have so many keywords. One way that I can suggest to find good keywords here is checking out the sub-periods here. For example, we can look for something like this. And then we have the top pages on Reddit. Where it is specific. So AI dungeon sub-period. Here are the best keywords. For example, character description generator. This is like a free tool that you can make on your website. For example, one of these three. I hope it's not safe for work. But here, for example, you could have a page like this. That only shows this specific free tool. So you could say make an AI wizard. The SEO. And then it will generate you a name. Race, species, and so on. So this is something that you could also have on your website. But then a slash tool slash AI character description generator. In a way. So that people can try out the app without really logging in or anything. And then you can say at the end, hey, by the way, you should also check out our app. Or use our image generator instead. So both of these tools could be very helpful. As separate small tools that you could get traffic from. So character description generator. It has a bunch of this. It has a lot of search volume. About 3,000. And it's going to be easier for you to rank for this. And then you can also get back links to these. And rank them higher. So here's another potential. Some examples here from ranging.co.uk. Another example from toolbuzz. Character profile generator. Let's do the same. And then you can even pick the AI model to make something like here. But they, for example, as you can see, they have a bunch of different tools that give them a bunch of traffic. Over here they made a whole title, species, appearance, personality. But also story generators, character generators, plot, backstory, storybook title, and so on. But you could also make them more specific to Dungeons & Dragons or similar tabletop games. For example, AI story generators, rap, paragraph, poem, and so on. So they have a bunch of random different tools that work really well. So that could be a great way to get a bunch of extra traffic. I'll export these for you. So you have both the results from here and from here. And I'll include them in the final sheet. But here we have a few more examples. AI attention alternative is a really good one. This is definitely a blog post or keyword that you should have on your page. Because you are this and then you even have this comparison. So you just write this one out into more of a blog post and make it look really nice. Because people are generally looking for this. You can also post on Reddit as a comment for all of your alternatives that you have. But here is another way that you can get more traffic. Because you can also reach out to everyone here. There's an AI for that. We have a list here of geeks for games. Write them an email and say, hey, by the way, we are also part of this AI dungeon generator. So can you please add us? We even include an affiliate link and so on. So the idea is that you reach out to everyone here that has a listicle. For example, the top 26. One way that you can do that is also send up to linkgear.com. And then you can also get these types of cold email campaigns. So what it does, it looks for articles like this based on the keywords. And this will email everyone. So that could be a way for you to get more backlinks on autopilot as well. Here we have more examples. So friends and fables, that's you. And other ones, AI dungeon, not safe for work, RPG AI and so on. It gets a bit more spicy after a while. But this is a good list of things that you could include as well in your article. So let's see, we have D&D next as well. So Reddit is a really good source for these types of keywords. Because they generally give you quite a lot of examples of what the people are looking for, what they type in, the keywords that they use, the volume. And you can even see, for example, you have a D&D character creator. This is a really good keyword for you because you have a really high search volume. A character creator. Also, you can make a tool like this. Or even like Booming Blade, Sorcerer's Spells. Let's open some of these blog post articles on Reddit and see what they say. So the Sorcerer's Spell recommendations. You can make a tool that gives you a specific recommendation like this one. And also say, hey, if you want to make this guy use Boom. And then you post this comment over here. And then people also find you. Or you can say, without even linking, you could say, use friends and fables. Because then people will be like, okay, I want to use friends and fables. They will Google it and they will find your page. So this guy is looking for a physical character creator. You can see, like, someone already did this method. This is actually like Heroforge is the code standard. And you can say, for example, here, I love friends and fables for making my characters. They are really good to call it. And then you can make a comment like this one. And someone will read this, maybe after a while, and then search for it. So this also helps you rank a little bit higher. But this is, as you can see, really good and very specific. Is there a free character builder? People already say their own stuff. So what you should do is go to all these comments and also make your own comment over here, recommending yourself. So this list we also have already, I believe, right here. Yep, D&D Next. And then the next one is Dungeons & Dragons. So also D&D Alignments, Name Generator, Badass Bible, Rare Name, D&D Online, Miniatures, Podcast. So as you can see, huge search demand. And all of these keywords you don't really have. So some ways that you can either make these keywords. For example, if you see something like a D&D podcast, you don't have this, of course. But if you Google it, someone wrote an article like the 11 Best Dungeons & Dragons Podcast. You can make this on your blog yourself. Either you write it yourself or you hire MagicBase, for example, to write your blog post for you. Otherwise, if you have something like a D&D Name Generator, this means this is potentially like a free tool similar to the character description that you can have. And if you Google the keyword, we see that we have a bunch of random examples over here that are ranked. So these are the ways that you rank for these types of keywords, which are like more tools in a way. What else do we have? Friends and Papers, this is you. And let's see what we have here on Reddit for yourself. Not so much. D&D Homebrew. D&D Homebrew, Paladin, Homebrew, Magic Items, Warlord, Homebrew Races. I'll skip this one. I think this is a good site, especially if you want to find out quickly what keywords you should rank for. Generally, your domain rating is okay, but it can definitely be a bit more higher. So try to do the emailing approach. Find more of these listicles that are saying like top 10, top 20. Make more tools. That will also help you get more backlinks. Make more powerful, useful blog posts. That will also help you get more backlinks. And the more blog posts you have, the more tools you have, the more pages you have, and the more keywords you can rank for, and the more traffic you'll get, and the more sales and leads you'll get over time. So this is, for me, the best program for you right now, and I hope it helps. Good luck.
