Hey everyone, today we'll be diving into CoinDive. We will do a SEO roast, go through their backlinks, go through their keywords, take a look at their top pages, find if there's any issues with their technical SEO, on-page SEO, and find some competitors that are potentially doing a little bit better so that we can improve our own SEO strategy. Let's go and dive in. So, first off, if we take a look at the website, with our Ahrefs SEO toolbar, we see that the domain rating is four, the amount of referring pages they have is about 95, 29 domain names, and about 170 keywords, for 32 search traffic. They started to recently get a boost, it seems that they started around March, and now they finally start to get a little bit of traffic in August. So the keywords that they're currently working with are Lingoxy Game Crypto, Miro Coin Gecko, Demo Coin Gecko Bot, so all stuff around Coin Gecko, and, or other crypto coins. So, mostly the pages they have are types of currencies, if we open just a few of them, we will be able to see what it looks like, and if we take a look at the top pages, we also see that it's very similar. So they have about 104 pages right now, and the top pages right now are just currencies. So they are all different types of crypto tokens, FIFA community score, the amount of followers, I believe this would be sentiment and other traffic based on social media, such as like Twitter, Telegram, or other channels that they would have. So this is very useful, because a lot of these communities are mostly dark forests, so they have very little information online. If you look at, if you search something like this, SACABAN, you probably see just the website where you can purchase stuff and find out the website, but the things such as more information, like how is the price doing, either you can check it on Coin Gecko, Coin Market Cap, Twitter, but it's very difficult to keep following up on projects that you don't know so little about. Coin Gecko is one of the biggest platforms as a competitor, and they have about 89 domain rating, so they are massive, and they have a lot of backlinks and a lot of keywords, so about 9 million search traffic. The potential here is very big. If we take a look at the top pages for Coin Gecko, we see right away that they're doing quite well, and most of the things that people are looking for are prices, Ethereum price, Bitcoin price, Bitcoin price, Shiba Inu coin, so they also have a lot of traffic on coins, and the top ones are, of course, the most popular tokens or cryptocurrencies. They also have translated the entire website to multiple languages, so for Coin Gecko, this really works. They have all types of pages and all types of languages for all types of currencies, so that's how they get 9 million traffic. The page for Tekabam, for example, here we see that for Coindive, it mostly consists of a quick description of what the coin is. You can add it to a watch list, community score. You can follow the price and see how the follower per day per price score is, which is some type of proprietary metric, and the amount of mentions and attacks, so this is pretty interesting information, so maybe if you see more mentions of active or sell or something, or sui, more about what the coin is about instead of just guessing. Some information, for example, here on price, performance, volume, sentiment, it has a little bit more information of coins to watch, so this is very interesting info, and it seems quite unique, so what potentially could be more interesting here is being able to track these specific coins in different ways, so you can see that each time it has a little bit more info. There are some more popular platforms like this for regular assets and equities that are very similar, so social trading platform, there's a few of them, I believe, or eToro is very popular in this, but also some other ones, so social follow traders, IG, Kaplan, Wikipedia, social trading, eToro seems to be the most popular ones, but anyway, let's move on. So you have the organic graph and growth. This could potentially be a little bit more specific because here on CoinGeck you see all of this information, also such as market cap, fully diluted valuation, 24-hour trading volume, circulating supply, total supply, max supply, specific information like the contract, you have here also this information, but here you have more information specifically for Ethereum, for example, a website, the explorers where you can check it and see what you can, the community, Twitter, Telegram, here you have it as well, but maybe not specific links. Oh yeah, okay, here, sure. All right, fair enough, but I would take a look at comparing both side by side to see what exactly could be missing, such as contract data, converters, price converters, historical prices, how do you feel about it right now? I believe you have it also here in some way, but maybe you can vote as well. Similar quick tokens you have in a way, global prices, related coins near you. So this is what CoinGecko has. One thing that they also have is more like an about page. This could be programmatically generated with FAQ, like where can you buy a SAC-M and then you say, okay, it's a SUI project, so here you can buy it. So this will help people if they search for something like where can you buy a SAC-M, you will be able to see it, okay, here, CoinGecko answers the question, whereas CoinMarketCap is not winning here on this. So this is a good way of getting also traffic. What is the day-traded daily trailing volume? Very similar. You could also do something like how, what is the price prediction for SAC-M or something based on the community score and your own follower day price. This could be very convenient in a way. Here you can see that CoinMarketCap doesn't have this information filled in as much, but they do have some text. So it's very similar to e-commerce strategies where you add some more text into the page so that you are able to answer more queries that are more long and long tail. So that, for example, not only what is SAC-M, but what is the price for SAC-M right now? Or what was the price in the past? Where can I follow it? Where can I buy it? And so on. So the more questions that you answer, the happier Google will be and the better you will rank. So those are really good strategies that I would try to implement in your website and see if you are able to rank a little bit better with this and add some more programmatic SEO. So for me, the only things that I saw just now, for example, if we keep going on TetherDrop, you have a few mistakes in your on-page SEO. So here your meta title and description is empty. You don't have an H1 title. So for your H1, what you should have is, for example, TetherDrop. If we compare it side-by-side with a competitor, you'll be able to check it out. But the title usually is something like TetherDrop, marketplace, something like this, right? So if we check CoinMarketCap, this is their title. So TetherDrop price, the short, the symbol, T-drop, live price chart, market cap, blah, blah. And also the same for CoinMarketCap. TetherDrop price today, T-drop to USD live. So this is the title that they chose. If we take a look here, TetherDrop price today, T-drop to USD live price, market cap, and trade. So they're adding this to their titles just because I believe this is gonna be a very big and popular search term. So a lot of people are looking for it. Bitcoin price to USD live price, market cap, trade, price today. So that's why they're adding this, just so that it can score a little bit higher here on Google. And then meta description, they answer it right away with price today, their trading volume, and how they update the price every time. And CoinGecko is gonna be very similar to TetherDrop price. So they focus mostly always on price because I feel like this is gonna be one of the top searches if you look for something like Ethereum and you look at the HS overview and then filter on matching terms that the top searches of all time in USA, for example, they will almost always be Ethereum price. So even more people look for Ethereum price than they look for Ethereum. So it's about three times as many people that are looking for the price value and the price value in USD. So it's almost like three times more including price prediction, news, price of Ethereum, ETF, price today, TUSD, value, classic price chart. So a lot of people are more interested in this, especially if you are more already familiar with Ethereum, you're not gonna type in Ethereum, you might then type in immediately Ethereum price. If we take a look for a smaller token, such as TetherDrop, we see that the things that people are looking for are just the name because they're not really familiar with the currency as much. And Ethereum, for example, is very popular. But here we see that, okay, they're looking for a token, coin, KYC, and so on. If we take a look at your other top token, such as this one, and let's see what people type in here. So SACABAM, SACABAM coin, FISH, crypto, NFT, chart. So still I would keep chart, token, or other information, and you can see here where to buy it, and your title. Because people who are familiar, they are still interested in the price. So ideally, you're on-page SEO, your titles should include the price. Here, both of your competitors have it. So instead of your title being generic and the same for everything, like CoinDive, I would make sure that it includes like TetherDrop, price, followers, sentiment, market analysis, news today, when to buy, community score, things that make you a little bit more unique and where you can compete on. Otherwise, the H2 and H1, here they have it, TetherDrop, T-drop price. Over here, this is the H1 tag. And here, for CoinMarketCap, they also have it, TetherDrop, price, T-drop. Also, I believe, here or somewhere. So ideally, in your own H1, you should have the same. So TetherDrop, price, they really want to focus on the price data. For them, it seems to be the most important one. So price chart converter. On your H2, just include the symbol or the name of the currency. How do you feel about T-drop today? And FAQ section, market guides. So they have always the keywords in the H2 and H1 titles. Over here, you can see it as well. You should have the same way of doing it. So what is TetherDrop? What is TetherDrop? You have it twice. But just instead of making it H3, these don't make sense. It should always be just like H1, TetherDrop, price. H2, what is TetherDrop? H2, TetherDrop, price, data, or followers. H2, TetherDrop, development, or 24-hour live price. H2, TetherDrop, market cap, info, TetherDrop, what people are talking about, TetherDrop channels, social media. So always include the name of the currency every time. You can see it here that they have it as well. The more specific you are for Google, the better it understands. It's not like generic news. It seems about TetherDrop. It's not just about, it's about TetherDrop. It's not just like development, it's about TetherDrop development. It's not just market cap, it's TetherDrop market cap. Or not daily social panel, it's TetherDrop daily social info, and so on. Operator tokens on the Tether network chain, here you can include it as well. Like instead of coins to wedge, just make it like FEDRA coins to wedge, right? Or SUI coins to wedge. This might make it a lot more relevant already. So those are some strategies that CoinMarketCap and CoinGecko are using to improve their on-page SEO for these smaller tokens. I believe since it's zero KD, and if you have some information that is unique, you should be able to outrank them. But again, here you can see, second band price, CSB. They have a few elements. They have the price word in the title. They have the name of the currency itself, and then the symbol. So make sure that you have it as well. Like you collect all the symbols, and you improve your on-page SEO by adding title description, headings, and so on. The final thing that you want to do is make sure that you have a canonical URL set, and this is correct. And that your robots.txt is allowing all of your pages. It shows me that it's hidden, but this might be incorrect. One thing that you can add is structure data, social media data. Here you can see that the OG URL, it should be the exact slash currencies slash add a drop, as well as your Twitter card data that should be filled in. If you can, add some alt text. For example, here on CoinDive, you don't have the alt attribute, and also for your other ones, you want to add the same. So this is quite important. Otherwise, I believe this seems to be mostly good. Your current strategy is almost 100% currencies, so I would just keep it at that. You have your unique specific info, and so this will really help. The only other strategy that I could recommend is focusing a bit more on App Store optimization on App Store, but this is another thing that you have to do a bit later on. But what helps is adding your CoinDive app. For example, here you have 17,000 backlinks, but it's almost always from your own website. And if we check the domains, for example, referring domains to your Google Play Store, it's only redevelop app on CoinDive. But you want backlinks to your Google Play Store page from all over the internet. This will help you rank your own app a little bit higher and get you more traffic. The other thing is that you have a low domain rating and you want to get more backlinks, so 100% just focus on that. This will take a long time, but one thing you can try to do is reach out to the people, to the core currencies who are hosting these, and email them, get them on Discord, and say, okay, hey, we want to promote your token on our platform, and just add it to the top page. Can you do this in exchange? Add a backlink to us. I also mentioned CoinDive, where your users can find the price alive on CoinDive. You'll have some unique information. We'll give you a better position in the rankings or feature you, and this way you could have organic backlinks for free. All right, I hope this helps. Good luck.

Coindive offers some unique metrics that set it apart:

  1. Community Score
  2. Follower per Day per Price Score
  3. Mentions and Attacks data

These proprietary metrics provide valuable insights not readily available on other platforms, potentially giving Coindive an edge in certain niches.

On-Page SEO Improvements

Title Tags and Meta Descriptions

image.png

Currently, many of Coindive's pages lack proper title tags and meta descriptions. This is a critical area for improvement.

Recommendation: Follow the competitor model of including:

  • Cryptocurrency name
  • Price mention
  • Symbol
  • Additional relevant info (e.g., "live price", "USD")

Example: "TetherDrop (TDROP) Price Today | Live USD Value & Market Cap"

image.png

Headings Structure

image.png

The current heading structure needs optimization. Many pages lack proper H1 tags and have inconsistent use of H2s and H3s.

Recommendations:

  1. Ensure each page has a single, descriptive H1 tag
  2. Use H2s for main sections, always including the cryptocurrency name
  3. Structure content hierarchically with H3s and H4s as needed

Example structure:

Copy
H1: TetherDrop (TDROP) Price and Market Data
H2: What is TetherDrop?
H2: TetherDrop Price Chart
H2: TetherDrop Market Statistics
H3: Market Cap
H3: 24h Trading Volume
H2: TetherDrop Community Metrics
H3: Follower Growth
H3: Sentiment Analysis

Content Optimization

To compete with larger sites, Coindive should focus on providing comprehensive, unique information for each cryptocurrency.

Recommendations:

  1. Include a detailed "About" section for each coin
  2. Add FAQs to target long-tail keywords (e.g., "Where can I buy TetherDrop?")
  3. Leverage unique metrics in content (e.g., "TetherDrop's community score has increased by 15% this week")
  4. Create price prediction content based on proprietary data
  5. Add sections on where to buy, historical prices, and related coins

Technical SEO

  1. Implement proper canonical tags
  2. Ensure robots.txt is correctly configured
  3. Add structured data for cryptocurrencies
  4. Implement Open Graph and Twitter Card meta tags
  5. Add alt text to all images

By focusing on its proprietary metrics, optimizing on-page SEO, and creating comprehensive content for lesser-known tokens, Coindive can significantly increase its organic search traffic. Consistent effort in building high-quality backlinks and optimizing for both web and app store search will be crucial for long-term success.
