How Google UULE location simulation works

Google uses standard URL parameters to serve location-specific results and bypass account-based personalization:

  • uule: Encodes Google's canonical location string into a Base64 payload prefixed with w+CAIQICI.
  • gl: Geolocation country code (e.g. gl=us, gl=uk, gl=de).
  • hl: Host language code (e.g. hl=en, hl=es).
  • pws=0: Disables personalized search results based on browser cookies or signed-in Google profile history.
